Preservation Initiatives was founded on a principle of green thinking first when planning any redevelopment project. While redesigning 100-year-old structures P.I. is uniquely positioned to implement the construction industries best practices responding to environmental awareness. Striking the perfect balance between classic architecture and modern technology.
Prior to the 400 block of North Market, Preservation Initiatives successfully revitalized the dilapidated 300 block of West 9th Street as well as the majority of the 200 block. Once known has a hub for the community to congregate P.I. restored the luster to it’s iconic cobble stone streets. From planning, to design and construction P.I. created eco friendly residential space while simultaneously increasing foot traffic to newly opened boutiques and restaurants.
Preservation Initiatives is the creative vision of city development veteran Don Meginley. Don, a Florida-native with over 40 years leading the industry has accomplished urban revitalization extensively on the Eastern seaboard. From Miami’s South Beach to Boston’s South End — Preservation Initiatives portfolio extends beyond traditional brick and mortar planning.
